i own a small business which require me to meet and talk with clients personally while i worked part time in a net cafe which required me to be polite and serve as nicely as i can. i master this technique, smile sweetly and let your hair fly while talking with customer, it doesnt mean anything on my part but it do have a little and maybe sometime alot in the part of customer, its either they find me cute and bubbly and close the deal or sometimes, me being just honest with my self and my business suits them.
the story starts when i have to close a big transaction with this filty rich guy (which was my boyfriend's bestfriend fiancee)so, this girl is very close to my boyfriend whom i recently just met, so were not yet that close.
i had to meet this fiancee of her because of business, and for some reason he and her had a fight and broke up their engagement and the last thing i heard she was really pissed off me and even called me in my back "flirt"
i really dont what happened to them but i got the feeling me being nice with her fiancee has got to do something to it, i dont know if she got jealous of me or whatever, but i only talked to the guy twice and thrice and just because of one transaction. anyway, they are now back together..
but i was really upset when she called me "flirt", im just being nice and true with a client, i dont know if me being polite with him upsets her or watever, its just rude because there was no malice whatsoever in that "meet ups"
so does it happened to you? does your being nice misundestood you as a flirt???

I know exactly what you mean. People always think I'm flirting, but I'm just a really friendly person. I'm not sure how to be myself without people thinking I like them or something. It used to make me really uncomfortable at my previous job because I'd have a lot of guys coming in just to chat with me. It was creepy.

First of all, nothing wrong with being a flirt as long as it is at the right place, right time, right person.
Second, if she is mad at you, what she says doesnt matter.
Third, as long as you know better....
