I have a friend who is a single mom like me, and quite young too. She was always there for her baby and really settle time with him until came the guy he get into with, she realize that she needs time for herself and answer her self needs. Now, she got lots of questions does she really have to choose which time to give more attention? Is it her pleasure or her baby's?

When you have a baby your own desires need to take second place to baby's. That said, there's no reason to not *occasionally* find a sitter and make time for you/couple time. Just do it at a time that baby doesn't mind being with a sitter and find someone your baby will enjoy being with, and who will also love being with the baby. :)

It is isn't easy to balance family life with outside interests sometimes. However all mothers need some time for themselves. Leisure time is important like I enjoy taking my dogs out for a walk and I take my children with me in their buggy. I think that your friend could enjoy getting to know her new guy and still have an incredible amount in her baby. For some ladies boyfriends don't stay forever but once a parent there is a like long commitment. I hope your friend finds the ideal balance between her baby's needs and her own pleasure.

As a mother, we do need to have time of our own, but we mostly sacrifice our own time for that of our children. When we become parents, our children should come before us in most ways. The fact that she is always there for her baby shows that your friend is a good mother and because of that she does deserve to have time that is hers alone. One of the things that I found helped me to have my own time when my daughter was very young was to have people that would help me out when I needed some time of my own.
