Some little theories on what life really is...

I have been strongly thinking on this topic for a while now, and I have a few theories on what life really is.
It might be all in some other beings imagination. We might just be like a story to someone else. For example, let's say Huck Finn in Mark Twain's, "Huckleberry Finn," might actually exist somewhere in his own little world where people live day to day and perform regular daily actions. We might be somebodies, "Huckleberry Finn." Somebody may have just dreamed us up. If you think about it, isn't life always dramatic?
Then, I thought maybe we are all already dead, and this is sort of like Heaven. Or even Purgatory. Whatever you believe.
I find myself thinking sometimes about what would happen if I did this or that. For example, I'll be driving down the road, and I'll think about what it would feel like to unlatch my seatbelt and open my driver's side door and just jump out. Or what if I just closed my eyes and drove as far as I could as fast as I could without opening my eyes. Sometimes life just feels like a weird dream.

I think I am just so pesimistic (or optimistic, depending on how you look at it) enough to think that this life is just a green room for a stage we are about to come in too. And that all we do here is just preparation for our perfomance in front of the real audience after this life. You make sacrifices in this life, hoping that we get rewarded after.
Does this make sense?

Hi juliamae, I really like your way of thinking, but I'm not encouraging you to drive with your eyes closed or jump from a moving car LOL ! I have often heard people say that they think that life is a dream, and dying is awakening to our true reality. I especially like your idea that we may be the product of someones imagination, it really shows that your thinking for yourself. Recently a friend and I shared a good laugh when we were conversing about this sort of thing and I made the remark, "I know I'm here but I'm not so sure about you" LOL! In a sense of course, we are the product of someones imagination because everyone sees us differently. I've always enjoyed thinking about the meaning of life, why we are here, where we are going and the meaning of it all. Of could much greater minds have thought thought about these things and no one has come up with the answer yet. I think it's still fun to try though. Blessings.
