Hand sanitizer contain anti bactery. The problem are: - The concentration need to be high or else it won't kill the virus, and what commonly available do not pass this requirement - H1N1 is a VIRUS not a bactery. Anti bactery designed to kill some bactery, it won't work on all bactery, some bactery do needed but some bad one can't be killed with same ingredient. We should not expect anti bactery kill virus - Some virus can not be killed. Virus can be disabled, meaning it can't spread. But some virus can also gone trough sleeping state to protect themself. Virus spreading by attaching himself to alife compatible cell. It goes to sleep if it can't. So, NEVER ever touch the animal that already been infected by the virus. If you touch them, it may already too late when you wash your hand later.... As for cure, there is israeli company that made sambucol, a medicine form black barry extract. I guess we should start seeking old way of curing flues like eating tomatoe, chicken soup, etc.

There's some chemical substance in it that kills a select part the bacterias. But believe me for it to work you have to wash your hands for more than 15 minutes. I mean continuously, not just washing hands, cleaning them with water and then applying soap and removing the soap with water, no, I mean continuously rubbing your hands together, otherwise you could just buy normal soap, it would have the same effect.
