it's posible to get epilepsy after an stroke?

Hello. My father had a stroke and after five month's he started to have seizures of epilepsy. In that time we didn't know what happen. They were verry frequent..we went to the doctor's but they can't explain us why he was doing this. Know he macke those stroke two at a distance of 2 months and some days... with all the treetmant's that he have. he has diabet to and pancreatit, and hart problem's and he stays much in bad becouse he cannot move so good because his body was paralised on the right side.

Yes, I think it's possible. With a stroke there may be consequences (big or small) on the brain too, and those 'consequences' may cause epilepsy.
It's possible during the stroke part of the brain was left with poor blood supply and that's why epilepsy happens now.

epilepsy is a ticking time bomb if ur gonna get it the chances are uv had it since birth its just what activates it for most people. if you suffer from this chances are you will know, but for some a trauma to the body can bring this on, the facts are quite simple its the wee electrodes that form connecting streams of electricity which send messages/commands to your brain that get effected like links in a chain if one of the links is damaged the electricity cant stream thru so they double back and this brings on epilepsy so think about that next time you bang your head off the kitchen cupboard door!
