No matter how many times I get in an elevator I am never ever comfortable maybe its the claustrophobia or some kind of complex however the moment I get into one I just feel like the walls are just too close or the wind is being pushed out my lungs as I move up or I am wondering what if it fell !!!
Consequently the few times I haveever been in one I amways so relieved when I get out and I never take the elevator if the building is less than four stories high.
Are you uncomfortable like me in an elevator ?

i was never comfortable riding elevators. i am not claustrophobic but i always fear that i may get trapped in an elevator and never get out or i may see ghosts or something like that. i know it's just psychological but it could happen. i never ride the elevator alone. i have tried it once and hell i was so scared! lol

I wouldn't say i was comfortable in one but would have to use one if it was available. There really isn't anywhere i go here that has elevators. Have a great weekend, Ronnyb

Hello my friend ronnyb Ji,
I thought I wa salone. I am happy taht I got company ow. I think we both are sailing in the same boat. I too have similar feelings. It may be another surprsing that I have never dared to go inside alone. I have always been accompanied by my hubby / children. I am afraid that I may not be able to come outif supply fails or some mishap taht ropes are broken. Another surprise taht I hardly used excellator. I am afraid taht I may again be trapped.
May God bless You and have great time.

I think that i`m the oposite man , because i feel so good in the elevator . I really like to go up , or down with the elevator . I don`t know why , but i just can`t wait to go with the elevator . Sure that i use it, just if i must go to the 4th floor , or more . It`s the fastest way to go up or down.

yes, I am uncomfortable in an elevator. I feel very claustrophobic, but I will get on them if I absolutely have to as long as it's on reasonable floor! i will only go up 10 floors. after that, i am like "wtf?!?!". my daugther, though, is extremelllllllllllly afraid of elevators. not escalators, though. all sorts of worries go through her head, she freezes. when she was little, it was hell getting her to even go on the 2nd floor in one!

I'm not that uncomfortable in a elevator it just depends on how high I have to ride it. Not too long ago I had to ride in a elevator to the 55th floor of this building, now that was wierd, I've never rode one that long before. If I only have to go two floors or something I'll take the stairs..lol.

I would rather take the stairs if I am on my own ,hate lifts ,they smell and I cannot get out if I want to.I need to get out or I feel suffocated.Thats why I have never flown in an aeroplane, what will happen if i need to get out at 30,000 feet.No I use my feet, travel by bus, lots of stops.Car travel is good.Trains on my own no good.Walls closing in is a horrible sensation.

it is no problem for me to stay in an elevator.no any uncomfortable, but if there is only one person in it while the elevator was shaking and refuse to be move, meanwhile, the emergency phone is also no responds, and no body at the outside of the elevator,it is very too nevous and horror to be endure.at this time, it is uncomfortable, even though only stay for one or two seconds in this room.good luck and have a nice day!

Am extremely comfortable in an elevator. Not really the chlostrophobic kind of person, but as long as the ride does not take too long I dont mind it. At work we have three floors and a really slow elevator. So as soon as you get off you are relieved simply because it would take way way too long.

My concerns are that i will get stuck between floors. That actually did happen to me before. Stuck between floors. I was stuck between 1st and second floor. I mean really stuck. Because if you use the phone it dialed the security desk.... I was the working security there that day. I just kept pressing all the buttons till if finally closed the door and went to 1st floor.

I don’t have a real problem in elevators unless it is a shaky one! I was stuck in an elevator once for about 45 minutes or so; I wasn’t really afraid because there were two other people in there with me. The elevator stopped in between floors and refused to move. We used the emergency phone and called for assistance. We had to wait for the technicians to arrive and when they did, they got the elevator moving quite quickly and I must say I used the stairs for the rest of the day!

I like elevator,It almost kills me when I have to climb up the stairs if the building is six stories high or more than that. But I don't like waiting for the elevator at all, which often took a long time.I have a dream that one day elevator have a speed of spaceship or guided missile, hahaha.I wish it may.
