I have a five year old a one year old, both boys, and soon to have a newborn baby girl. I am currently deployed to Iraq, and my wife said that the other night my five year old came running into her room and said there was a Chupacabre in his room.
I have no idea where he heard about the Chupacabre in the first place, or how he knew it was a Chupacabre that was in his room and not some other scary monster. I know that he is not too old to be scared of monsters at night, but I am wondering at what age do kids stop thinking there are monsters in there room, generally speaking. I cannot remember from my childhood when I stop thinking monsters were in there. Do any of you remember from your childhood or have older children that no longer think monsters are in their room.
Just curious.
