When your cat makes a kill, does it bring it home as a gift to you and then go back out for more, or does it eat what it kills?
You would think we never fed my cat. She would go out hunting all day, catch lots of things and completely consume them. Then she would come in at night and still eat the food we put out for her. She loved to hunt, but other than showing us what she had caught, she didnt leave it for use, it was her meal, and she werent shareing! :)
The best story is the thanksgiving meal she caught for herself. She caught a full size gray squirl. Like a 2 pounder. She sat outside and ate that squirl from the head to the tail. It took her 45 min to eat it. when she was done all that was left was the fluffy tail, and one very full cat. She wandered in, plopped herself in front of the heater and slept for the rest of the day.

Well what i own are three little kittens which love to hunt , they are pretty slow as they take to chase and atlast kill a lizard in an hour or so with so many tactics .
but they dont eat it , they just have the lots of milk i feed them and play on the sofa , lick each other hard scratch the carpets and when tired sleep under the sofa on each other !

wow she is one hungry cat, isn't she?our cats eat what they catch.they will eat cockroaches, lizards, and birds.we currently have mouse in the house that they cannot catch yet.they also love our food like potato chips and bread.when we are eating chips, the sound of the chips' plastic container makes one our cats named Dos go crazy and meow until we give her some.

We tried not to give our cat 'people' food, but you know how that goes, you give in. She loved cheese snacks, cheezeits and popcorn with cheese on it, not without. But the thing she loved the most, and would rip out of your hand if you didnt give her some was chocolate.

I had a dog that would catch fish and bring it home as a gift. That was a great dog. My cats though, well, they come in with bush rats that are just really nasty. For some reason, they don't eat the rat's feet so they leave that for us. Now, come to think of it, i hope the feet aren't gifts.
