Have you ever had a bad situation more then twice in a roll?

I want to know whether you have ever had a bad experience or situation more then twice in a roll. Bad experience or some people call it bad luck usually comes once, but in some occasions, bad lucks are coming twice or more in a roll. I have a friend who experience a very bad luck. He was loosing money because someone scam him, then his father was having an accident about one month after the scam and need a lot of money for medication, and then his father's leg must be amputated. About a year after the amputation, his wife was going to hospital because of having a problem with her pregnancy and lost his baby. Can you imagine how bad it is to have so many bad things happen in a roll? He just cannot have time to breath. Have you experience that or anyone you know?
