Working in a laboratory,tired and frustrated...

Now I work in a robot laboratory in my university and I want to learn more practical skills of my major there.As a student I have classes everyday,so I have to work there in my part time.However,I am here with little guidance and I even don't know what to do.I have a task in my hand but I have no idea where to start.Everyone is busy doing something here and I don't want to fall behind.I have always been a good student but I know I lack practical skills and the ability to handle problems on my own.And that is exactly why I am here.I want to change this situation and i want to be trained to make better preparation for my future. What makes me frustrated is that after one month's here,I make no progress.See my friends who come in the laboratory together with me,they are doing well.I have almost lost my confidence and determination.The examination is also coming near,I feel tired...What the hell is going on... I don't give up,never ever ever!
