I feel that everyone does exercises with an intention of keeping fit or to reduce weight. There are others who exercise / walk to keep diabetes or heart ailments under control. There are several others who exercise in order to keep themselves active, throughout. What is your purpose of doing exercies?

Hi,
You are right. If we do not exercise, we develop pains and crams. In order to reduce weight, you also need to have a systematic diet plan along with proper exercise. You will have to cut down on fat and carbs. You need to have a sufficient intake of vitamins and proteins too
Whenever I take a break from exercise for a week or so, I develop pains on my hip, back and legs. I am henceforth able to maintain my weight.
Thanks for responding.

I exercise now to lose weight. I'm obese for my height and age, and I want to lose that NOW before it's too late. After I lose the weight I want to, I'm going to try and stay at my 'healthy' weight so I can prevent those silent killers from sneaking up on me!
