I have one sister but, because there are fifteen years between us we both grew up as only children. I am the older one and moved out of home when my sister was only seven. I grew up as an only child but I can’t say that I ever felt lonely. I had imaginary friends like many children and was always very resourceful in regards to entertaining myself and I believe my sister was the same. We both had a lot of friends too so there was no real problems in that respect.

I'm not an only child, but I'm the only daughter of 4 siblings. Yes, when I was small I remember how I always asked my mom if I could have a sister. I imagine how much fun it is if we can share a bedroom together, and share clothes, play everything together. When I grew up I just love to hang around girls and yearns to have a best friend whom I can treat as a sister, but sadly, I didn't have much luck back then. Now, as I grew much older, I do have a collection of christian friends who do treat me like a real sister, and I'm grateful for that.

You do not exactly need a buddy if you have an imagination =P There are others too, like me, that I know of, who had imaginary friends. We are those who do not grow up surrounded by playmates our all most of the time. It would probably be great to have someone helping you with the swing - but you can do it yourself too anyway
