Is orkut and facebook a waste of time?

I have been to orkut many a times and have spent hours on it
and still friends say that you should join facebook
afterall all that orkut offers are also in mylot.
should i continue at orkut and also join facebook?

Well Friend through Orkut and Facebook you can Chat with Other , By this you can come close to them,Moreover you can remain in Bondation with ur Old Friends & Current who are faar away from you,So I prefer you Can use Orkut & Facebook.

i do not think that orkut or facebook is a waste of time but is a site to pass your time with friends sitting at home.

I don't think so. As long as you enjoy what you are doing on that site, it is not a waste of time. For me, I don't have to leave a certain thing (either a website or anything that I like) because I don't get monetary reward from them. You leave it because you are not fulfilled with what you do on that site. I mean, if it doesn't give you happiness then maybe you should leave it. But if you think it is important and you got to tag along with your friends in that site, why not?
Like here in mylot, I stay in here because I'm happy to become part of this site. It is not always about the "doughs"...it is always what your "heart" tells you.

It depends on who you're asking. I don't have the time to keep so many social networking accounts. I actually deleted my friendster because I cant maintain it. I don't have orkut or facebook accounts, even so many of my friends keep asking me to sign up. If you have the time and would like to find your old friends, i think it's a good place for you.

Hi there!
You should join facebook. I am saying that because i am using it every day to chat and play on it. I don't know Orkut though. I am on facebook 1 hour every day usually, in total. I didn't want to join facebook the very first time because i thought there is no point cos there is MSN. But i joined it finally cos my friends wanted me to join it. Now i am on it every day, and i think it's fun cos there is some good apps, like poker, and online RPGs. I like it . You should join it. But be careful who you add as a friend, or whose request you accept.
