Would you accept a promotion even if it means relocating and starting over again

I have done it before, TWICE! I didn't just move states - I moved to different countries. I didn't necessarily left my family back home. I went ahead with the move, got myself settled in and then brought my family over to enjoy my new life with me. It is a wonderful experience. It can be scary at first, and could be daunting at times, when you have no close friends or family nearby. But having gone through it myself, I would recommend it to all, especially if you're still young and relatively mobile. It makes you grow up, be more adventurous, you are able to learn more and you get to experience a whole new culture and world! I would do it again if given the opportunity.

I work for myself so that's not likely to happen. But when I was working for others I would have to say that it would have to be worth it to move. So if the promotion wasn't worth moving from here I wouldn't take it.
You have to look at the cost of living where you are and then where you will be relocated to. Do they equal according to what you would be earning. Plus all of your other expenses now.
If I was to be relocated to a bigger city I would turn it down but if they relocated me to where the fishing is great I would definitely be thinking about it.

When I was younger I worked in other countries, and I sometimes moved to a new place without knowing anyone. At that time I just found it interesting and challenging, and I enjoyed exploring a new place, learning a new langauge etc. Today my situation is a bit different. I like love changes and new challeges, but I am married and I have many pets, so I couldn't just leave everything and move somewhere else because of a job. If my husband couldn't come along I wouldn't take the job, but if we could both move (and if we agreed about it) I would take the job and look forward to a new experience.

yes, why not, and if you can go together with your love ones and you can meet more of your love ones.
promotion means more of a financial security for me other than employment growth and security, because it is non sense without financial growth and security.

I would not relocate if I couldn't take my husband. Now Also, I would not relocate anyway as I don't like the idea of moving from our small comfy town anyway.
