I have captured some videos with my digital camera. Now I am thinking if I can share some of the videos online with my friends, but some videos are too long. I am wondering if there is any tool that I can use to just cut a section of the video, so that I can easily convert the video to flash video. Does anyone know any tools for this purpose? Thanks in advanced.

There are a lot of softwares which can help you for that. You can use Adobe Premiere. Just import the file in the bin and drag it to the new timeline and cut the portions by easy tools available. Then export it to any format like flv,wmv or .mov to share with your friends. A 30 days trial version is available always in adobe.com. You can also use windows movie maker, VCD cutter or can find any free easy softwares too.

I think virtual dub is free and it can handle the work. In another case if you willing to waste money buy cyberlink powerdirector or pinnacle. Their interface is pretty simple :)
