Do you belive in... LUCK

I'm not religious, but i do believe in luck. I belive that you can work hard to achieve something. However hard work will only increase your luck. Luck is never 100%. Therefore, no matter how hard you try, you can still fail at something. I have friends who don't belive in luck. They claim that if you work hard towards something, then you will achieve your goals.
What do you believe?

I am the kind of person that believes in luck and miracles. I mean, if you have a religion and you believe in that and you know what's going to happen to you when you die and what's your person in life, then you are automatically a believer. Well like they say practice does make perfect and if you do work very hard for something then yes, I do believe you can achieve your goals. Nothing is impossible. If somebody wants to achieve something, no obstacle is stopping them that cannot be passed. But I still believe in luck, just like when I won $20 on a scratchie. That was luck.
