What will you do when it is your mother's birthday?

My mother's birthday is several days ago.Actually I forgot it and it is my father who reminded me of it.It was hard for me to come up with a good idea to celebrate her birthday because I was far away from home.I had intended to call her ,but I finally gave up,I was always too shy to say love to her.Then I sent her a message which was not a quite good present,but she was very happy.So how about you?

Generally I buy her a saree and take her blessings by falling on her feet. On my birth day, she voluntarily bless & kiss me with some memorable gift.

She is my best friend, to share and decide. Thats my best mom and she is unbeatable!
Well i got her a car so she can go to places comfortably!

I purchase a cake in my mother's birthday and also give her a mobile phone so that she always keep contact with me.

My mum's birthday is on 16th December so I have requested that day off from work. We will go out to lunch, I will make her a personalised card & maybe a cake.I'll probably give her some flowers or other gift and a great big hug!
I'm sure that, knowing you were thinking of her & sending a loving message was the perfect gift for your mother. I know that would be the sort of thing I'd treasure from my sons
