Debate: Which is the most lovable? The DOGS? or the CATS?

I think they are both very lovable. I have a dog which I adore but my great loves are my two cats. They are affectionate, yet independent. They are beautiful, clean and cuddly! I love to sit on the armchair in the evening with one on my lap and the other right next to me on the arm of the chair. I’ve had cats all my life and the dog I have now is the very first canine I have ever owned; she is lovely but a lot more demanding and not quite as cuddly!

i think dogs because maybe that's the reason why it became every man's best friend. :D

i love dogs more than a cat, it's rare to see cats here that has a beautiful breed, since it's very expensive i think. i love dogs that are cute and doesn't grow too big.

I like both but I tend to lean toward the cats. Cats are quiet and can sit with you for hours on end. Cats accept it when you are not attentive. Cats maintain their own identity separate from you. Cats do not need us but they accept us. Cats take less effort to maintain - ie you don't have to walk the cat. There is nothing better than sitting with a cat in your lap who is purring. I love the sound and feel of a cat purring. Cats are smaller and easier to handle than some dogs. Cats maintain their independence whether we like it or not.

i prefer dogs they admire you and even if you ignore them they continue to love you. Cats on the other hand are sort of mysterious and always reserve with their masters. They aren't that playful but they are sweet but i'd still go for dogs.

For me, dogs are move lovable than cats. Eversince I was a kid, I've had a dog as my pet. They would always play with me. There was an incident when I was 10 years old when a cat almost scratched me, fortunately my dog was with me and he chased away the cat.

Hands down dogs are more loving and more lovable. Cats can be lovable too but they go about it in a more agressive way and they tend to go off and do their own thing but are always looking for food and treats. Dogs seam to have this unconditional love and while they of course love their food and treats they just want you to spend time with them and they want to be with you. Cats could take or leave us, as long as we feed them they are satisfied.

It's very hard for me to decide between dogs and cats. To me both of them are lovable but I feel more connected to dogs... but I also love cats too.
