hi,mylotters, are you a spender?aha,I am a saver, I try my best to save every cent, but I am not a miser,I think this is a good habit for me, why I try me best to save money ,I want to buy a house to marry a wife, and I save money to invest some stocks.that is my plan,i want to live a better life,so that I must earn more money now, now I only spend 1 $ a day for food ,if there is no special cost, and sometimes even do not have to spend a penny, so how about you ,mylotter? are you a spender or a saver?

Hey, I'm not really a saver but not much of a spender either.
I try to save money but then spend it all or spend nothing, its not really in my control. Its great to know that you're saving money for your future. I wish you the best of luck with that! 1$ a day, for food!? how is that possible!?
I don't think that's possible.
Compared to you, I'm a spender, i believe that 1 life, live it. who knows whether we live tomorrow.

Well...since I own a home, a car, and am caring for a wife and child. I figured in what is spent in a month, and PER day, including bills, food, gas for the car, and etc things we do throughout the month, it equals out to be about $60 a day...lol....Thats horrible!!
But you have to remember thats EVERYTHING, including all bills and expenses...

hi,colu41, 60 USD? I think it is a very high cost,I think that the income and consumption should be proportional to the column,if you earn very little, but you spend a lot of money, you will run into financial difficulties, this is what we do not want to see,so I guess you should be a high-income family.

Good for you! Be careful to buy nutritious food and take care of yourself or you will be spending your savings on doctor bills.
I save everything I can. I was married for almost 20 years to a person who didn't believe in saving and we never had any money in the bank. A couple of times I had to beg the electric company worker not to turn off our power.
Now that I'm on my own, I will never be in that situation again! Everything I earn on the internet goes into a savings account and any money I have left over at the end of the month does, too. I buy very little that I don't really need. I am not a miser but I believe in having enough saved to handle any emergency.

Oh most likely I'm a spender! I love hanging out with friends, so yeah i spend money a lot. But I'm trying my best to save money a little for the future, and if i have already a job. I know how hard money can get. We should also know our limitations in spending money.

well I'm more of a saver than a spender because I spent at least 2 dollars a day on food and that's the most important in life, food itself as for other expenses I shell out a few bucks just for the important items that I really need and it must be also items that are not expensive they may be cheap but has a quality.

The thing with me is that if i go out, I definitely end up spending at least $5.00. Having said that I do spend on things which I need the most. Keeping the present economic climate in mind, I don't hink every penny counts. After all, end of the day you have to take care of yourselves and your loved ones.

Hi to everyone i've always been bad with money and i've always spent all my money plus made more debt. In the last 2 years since my son has been born i have been very good. i may not have thousands of pounds stashed away in the bank but i do try to put some money aside for middle and long term plans. However,i sometimes feel as if i am saving for the future and not enjoying the here and now.
Sometimes a little enjoyment does us all good and perhaps balancing this out a little more may make saving feel much more worth it in the end. I find it impossible to spend $1 dollar a day on food, especially here in the UK where a chocolate bar costs more!!!
