Well, there are a lot of sites where you can publish your articles and get a mere amount of money on per views basis. Well, these are sites like triond, asociated content etc.
On the other hand, there are clients who look for your articles. You directly sell them to the clients and get paid for that. The money that you get generally are far more than get paid per view system. But, you do not hold any right for those articles?
So, my question is what do you prefer between these two methods of earning from writing?

I like both ways but at the moment, I am doing more of the second option because it is easier to do this type of writing. In addition, I have not yet run out of articles to write for this option, so I decided to concentrate on doing this activity. As you mentioned, the pay is better. I don't mind holding any right for these articles because I know I wrote them. During my next holiday, I will try to write more articles on a pay per view basis. It will be like investing. The pay may not be much but it will probably pay off in the long run depending on how much I invested in it (quality, subject wise).

Thanks a lot for your response. I guess it is up to you what kind of investment you want to make. For first case, it is investment of time an skills. SEO skills to be more specific. The better page views you get, the better should be the pay. Moreover, the number of visits in your site definitely reflects if people like your content or not.
For the second case, it is more likely to be a one time investment way. You invest some sort of time and you get paid for that. No rights, nothing, your work is given to someone else but yes, you enjoy an one time money.

I love both the methods. I do both type of writing. I write for various websites like triond, bukisa, bright hub. These websites pays based on page views. I also write for various clients through websites like scriptlance, getafreelancer, and rentacoder. Second method gives you more money when compared with the first one as you have to wait for the page views to increase. Most of these websites pays for every 1000 page views. It isn't possible to get 1000 page views within a very short period.

Dear friend,
I used to publish articles, but later I stopped as I was unable to get time. Moreover some of my articles were rejected too. So whenever I put an article I would just give better investigation of that subject so as to give more valuable contributions. Basically as a writer I so good.

It depends for me. Obviously, these days articles fetch more money than pay per view systems but right now, I'm sort of thinking, if I can sell my articles, why don't I start up my own website and capitalize on it instead? So, I'm sort of in between that right now.

Hi,
Thanks for your response. Well, you can obviously set up a new business for you. If your content is good then it will be beneficial for your website at the same time. But, the fact cannot be ignored that when you are actually having a website you need to try hard and promote it so that it gains good amount of traffic. Only quality content will not be of much help, I guess. Promotion is also important.

Anyway, Yes, you are right. I wish you all the luck. For the past three years I have also tried my hands at SEO so now I have some sort of experience on SEO. I will be really very happy to help you, if you need any.

Well, I'd sorta like to look into writing for pay, but know nothing about that. I've joined a couple of the websites that offer that, but after I get signed in - - I don't know where to start, or what to do.

Nowadays,I like the first earning way by articles, because it is easy. Writing articles is a full technical way for earning, so first I must master it. When you write more articles, you will be familiar with that way. I suggest you select a interesting or familiar way. If you take more effort, you will be the expert in that. Money is direct ratio with effort. When you be familiar with the earning way by viewing articles, you try the second way, and you will find everything is easy. Good luck to you.

Thanks for your response. Well, I think you have given a brilliant idea to start things off. One should always start with an idea for these pay per view articles. If people are coming back actually to check those out then you must have developed a good amount of viewers and people must liking your writing style. After you know the basic details of how to write, you can shift to writing articles for your clients.

I do both. It just depends on which site I am on. If I had to choose it would be hard.

When it comes to publishing articles to earn money, I guess different people may have different ideas. If I have chances to make a decision, I prefer to sell my articles to the clients and get paid for that directly.
At first, selling my articles directly can help me earn money far more than get paid per view system, even if I do not hold any rights for those articles any more. If I choose to get a mere amount of money on per views basis, I will have to wait for a long time before I get paid and I am not sure if the number of views is right.
Of course, for the long run, if the sites are legit completely, maybe it is wiser to choose to get a mere amount of money on per views basis.

Well, it has both advantages and disadvantages. It is up to the writer what he prefers. My lot is fun because you can give advices, help others and enjoy at the same time.
