Our beautiful black cat is coming home from the Vet to night. His operation went well but cancer was found, the good thing is the Vet feels he got it all. If the time this cat has left is a good life it will be worth saving him. The house sure is empty without him, he talks a lot and is a real people cat, a lap sitter whenever one is available. Thanks to all for your good wishes

I am glad you could take him to the vet and get him some help. I hope all the rest of his time is terrific and full of nice warm laps.

That is the perfect ending to my day! Let your furbaby know that I thought of him yesterday and today and wished him well. I'm very happy that you have him back in good health! I hope his recovery is painless, I know you will make him feel loved and appreciated.

Aww! They are certainly missed when they are gone, and it will good to welcome him home. Sometimes it is better then when one of our children finally leave the nest..lol...and we pray and hope they don't want to come back home..lol

Oh that's great news! I'm glad they get the cancer out and your cat will be home soon. You must love your cat very much to go through all that to make sure he is well and taken care of, not to mention the cost of it all. I love my pets, too, and I'd do the same. I hope he recovers well. Best wishes.

Congratulations! I'm glad to hear your cats surgery went well. Hopefully they did get it all. How old is he? I know how lonely it can be when your used to a cat talking to you and in general being around. I hope everything goes well for him. I had three cats that had cancer, in different places and I couldn't afford to have surgery done on any of them. I wanted to do everything I could to prolong their life but sometimes you just can't. I finally had to have them put to sleep and I still miss them. They all got sick about six months apart, so although I missed the first one, I was trying to take care of the other two who were also sick and kept me busy.

As hard as it is to put them to sleep. It is the best thing for them if they are in pain. It's the best thing for you also because you don't have to see them suffer.

I am so glad! Thank goodness the cancer is gone, that is fantastic news pat! I bet you have missed him! He sounds like a beautiful boy. I appreciate what you mean about the quality of our pets’ lives. As you may know my beautiful black boy is sick and nearing the end of his life but at present his life is not too bad so, aside from when he vomits once or twice a day, the rest of the time he is behaving normally and he appears not to be suffering at this stage. Congratulations on getting our furbaby back!
