squeezing toothpaste - how do you squeeze toothpaste?

I always say that I squeeze it from the end, but I always find myself squeezing it from the middle. Maybe it is just reflective on my own personality. What I do is different from what I say that I am, or what I try to be. You can approach this discussion in two different ways: you can approach it from a personality perspective; or just respond on the trivial way I started it: on how you squeeze your toothpaste.

I Usually squeeze it using my toothbrush. My wife hates seeing it squeezed not properly by my kids, therefore, I make it sure to squeeze it myself. If the toothpaste is really empty, I also cut it in half to get all whats left on it.

Oh you just added another important fact --kids! My kids also have a problem of squeezing it properly. I always see the cap open, or some toothpaste scattered on the counter or the lavatory. I try to tell them how to use it correctly, but they just seem to do the same thing over and over again. Good on you to cut it half to make sure you use all of it!

Yeah, children are children. But at least now they are beginning to show responsibility. But I find it hard to teach them the correct way of doing with the toothpaste.

I never squeeze the toothpaste tub , I roll it from the bottom every time I use it. when you squeeze it in the middle, there is a lost of air in it. and every time you use it , it gets messy . try the rolling . have a nice day

Believe me I know about losing air within the toothpaste. I can hear the farting sounds.

From a personality perspective...I squeeze the toothpaste tube from wherever I happen to grab it because I'm usually in "routine" mode when I brush my teeth. I have a morning routine that is automatic. I don't have to think about what I'm doing because I do the same things in the same way every day so this frees up my mind to think about other stuff. I'm happiest when I'm doing more than one thing at a time. But, I will also at some point squeeze the toothpaste from the bottom of the tube up to where it looks neat because I like order, too.

I was gonna say that one of the reason I squeeze the toothpaste in the middle was also because of routine. And that most of the time when I brush my teeth in the morning, I am still half-asleep. That's why I depend on my routine when I grab the toothpaste. I also like order that's why I say I squeeze it from the bottom.

I squeeze it from the bottom. That's so I make good use of everything that's in the tube. Apart from that, I think it looks quite unsightly if it's squished in all different parts. I also stand the toothpaste cap down so that the toothpaste inside will collect and move towards the cap to maximize use and make it easier to squeeze of when it's almost finished.

I agree that it is a bit unsigthly if you keep squeezing it from the middle. I try to make up after I have finished brushing my teeth by squeezing it from the bottom, but my first instinct is always to squeeze it from the middle. Don't know why. Anyway, thanks for responding.

I forget how I squeeze the toothpaste because there is no rule I followed.
