How do you drink your coffee?

I can't survive without my coffee. I'm an addict LOL. There are so many ways to enjoy a cuppa. I take mine with 2 sugars and milk. Love Cappuccino especially with cream. My daughter hates coffee, even the smell. She's a tea drinker. It's the first thing I drink in the morning when I get up and the last thing I drink before going to bed. No, I don't get insomnia from it. Oh wait - yes I do. Not complaining though, more time to spend on the internet :)
So how do you drink your coffee? Or do you hate it?

I usually drink my coffee black. I don't like to ruin the taste of coffee with all them sugar & creams. I go through somewhere in abouts of 20 - 35 cups of coffee a day. More days than not, I drink nothing but coffee all day. I don't drink coffee, very few but sometimes soda, & no water.

You and I must be coffee twins.
I don't like the sugar and cream either. I'm 24/7 with the coffee. Give me coffee flavored coffee over those flavored kind any day. Love vanilla, but not in my coffee!
I've never walked into a Starbucks. Give me an old fashioned regular old coffee shop any day.

Hi, my coffee twin!!! Ha ha... I know what you mean. I've seen some people pouring sugar into their coffee. I walked up & said, "Would you like some coffee with that sugar?" He looked at me strange for a second & says, "Well, I really don't like the taste of strong coffee. I just drink to wake up." So I told him, "Electric shock theraphy keeps me up too but you don't see me taking 4 pounds of sugar with it, do you?" I do have to admit, every so often, I do like something little sweet but don't wanna give up coffee, I'd go to starbucks & get one of those flavored coffees. But that's as often as maybe once a month or so. But then again, if all the starbucks were to blow up by 4 o'clock today, I wouldn't miss it either.

Wow. That's a huge amount of caffeine. You must be on a permanent buzz - lol. I thought I drank too much coffee. If I don't get enough of my "coffee fix" I suffer from headaches (aka withdrawal) so I make sure I have at least 4 to 5 cups a day. Love my sugar and milk though. Not an espresso fan either.

Gosh, what another fascinating and interesting discussion about how we like to drink our coffee. I wonder if it's okay to give the same response to the discussion posted yesterday on the subject or should I make up a new one. Actually I always take me coffee sketo and lots of it, I need something to keep me awake while responding to such original topics.

BravoUsually the coffee discsssions elicit no response so well done for being drawn. As Sid says below they do tend to be repetitive and thus end up deleted quite often as the posters tend not to reply. But how to know if a poster reads the replies to give that advice in the first place.
As for the rest of your comment please, anyone who knows me here knows I am clueless with technology and never copy and paste. You'll find if you do elict many responses on mylot you will smile when you receieve one like mine as at least it was original.

Gosh what a fascinating and interesting response. Suffering from PMS are we? Why waste your energy posting a comment on a discussion that is so 'original'? You should probably just copy and paste your comment on these original topics so you don't lose any earnings. Or stop drinking coffee so you don't need to stay awake.

I love all types of coffee. I used to drink cappuccino and espresso. These days I have devised a healthy way to drink it. First I boil about 1/4 cup of milk. I then add instant coffee to it and mix it well. After I mix a banana, some strawberries, honey, greens plus, yogurt, protein powder, liquid vitamins, and soya milk in a blender. I then add the small portion of mixed coffee with ice cubes and blend some more. This is my quick pick me up healthy morning protein milk shake. It may sound strange, but I assure you it is good. You can get creative with it and try other ingredients to your taste, but make sure there is some sort of fruit, veggie powder, and protein powder in it. Try it sometime and let me know what you think.

That's sounds really yummy but way too much effort. I don't even go to that much effort to prepare my daily protein shake... just add water :) I will try this concoction one day and definitely post about it. I love the combination of bananas and strawberries in a smoothie!

I will occasionally drink tea but then I prefer a Mint Green Tea with no milk or sugar. The smell of coffee is irresistible especially if you walk past coffee shops. It's so tempting and inviting and once inside I can't decide which one to have :)

Coffee is the best! I love it and really can not function before I have my morning coffee. My husband and friends tease me and say that coffee makes me an instant human, because before I've had my coffee I do not feel close to human, more zombie really. lol I usually drink 2-3 cups in the morning and sometimes make a pot when I get home from work if I'm in the mood for something hot. I like all different flavors of coffee. I enjoy trying out different ones. My mother-in-law drives a semi and always brings me home new coffees to try from where ever she was at last. My favorites are just good old Folger's Classic Roast and also Dunkin Doughnuts French Vanilla. I take my coffee with a little creamer and a packet or two of Splenda...maybe a little more creamer if the coffee is strong. If I'm drinking french vanilla coffee, it is best with some french vanilla creamer too. You can never have too much french vanilla. I LOVE frappacinos too. Particularly from Gloria Jean's coffee shop. Lots of people seem to rave about Starbucks but honestly, I'm not all that impressed with it. Though I will go there in a pinch if I have to. Anything to get my fix!

I'm the same as you in the morning - don't look at me, don't talk to me, don't get in my way until that first cup of coffee in down my gullet. We don't have Starbucks here but you always hear the celebrities going to Starbucks so maybe that's why they're famous - and not for their coffee at all!

I don't drink coffee at all because I dislike the taste. I did drink it once when I needed to stay up. I just swallowed it though and tried not to taste it.

I like flavored coffee but I only drink it because I need a boost of energy not because I really like it. The only problem is that even though I only drank one cup a day maybe 2 at the most. If I went more than a day without drinking it I would get a bad headache. If you ever want to withdraw from coffee without side effects this is what has helped me. You take a 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper in a cup of hot water and a spoonful of honey and drink it as a tea. It will help eliminate the cravings, the side effects and will also increase your metabolism. The pepper with the highest heat units is most effective. I take 90,000 HU but that might be too hot for some people.

I myself am an avid coffee addict. I like it to be sweet, but I drink so much of it I rarely add anything other than milk; if I added cream and sugar to all my coffee I'd get an instant heart attack I'm sure. Cappuccinos are absolutely delicious, and some espresso shots never hurt when you feel your body shutting down before you're ready to drop off. I once had Almond Joy flavored coffee and it tasted just like the chocolate bar. It was coffee magic... but coffee is coffee, it's all good. It's fun to just experiment with different brews.

I'm a big fan of tasting different flavoured coffee and combinations. A big favourite of mine is Iced Coffee, especially if it is made with soft serve ice-cream. My coffee can stand and get cold and I will finish. I actually prefer a cool cup of coffee to a piping hot cup.

Oh, I like coffee. Before leaving for work I would drink a cup of coffee. If not, I'd be dizzy all day. Maybe I'm addicted to coffee. My wife suggested buying the coffee without kafeine. I've tried, the first time my head was dizzy, and all day at the office there is no spirit of cooperation at all. Then I tried to buy instant coffee as CoffeeMix or Nescaffe, with a mixture of coffee, milk cream, and sugar. The result? I'm not dizzy anymore .... but, in a day I can drink coffee three times. My doctor said, less so only once a day. But I still have to drink three times ...

Same here. I really love coffee as in black coffee. I love it with creamer. i used to have 5 cups a day but since i was advised to refrain from drinking coffee as a trigger for my reflux esophagitis... one cup is fine until i finally let go of my dear coffee!

I also like coffee very much. This is my favourite drinks.
But my preference of taking is adding 1 tea spoon of coffee in hot water with no milk and no sugar. I take coffee moderately frequent. At night it helps me to remain awake.
Have a nice day.

we chinese people are not quite used to coffee, especially elder people. tea is the common type of drinks anytime anywhere. almost in every family at every meal you could find tea going through the whole period of the meal, from before it till after it. coffee, i like it. but just taste it once in a while. and i like it black , a little cream maybe, but not too sweet. it's tasty, though.
