Hi friends,
Most of my friends are working in software companies in India. Here there is no fixed working hours in the software companies. They are working in MultiNational Corporations only. There too for namesake they are telling like the time is flexible and you can work at your time and all. But i guess out of 24 hours the employees are pushed to sit in the seat atleast for 14 to 15 hours.
Out of 24 hours - 14 hours working
3 hours travelling
6 hours sleeping
1 hour seeing the faces of wife and kids
What's this too worse ? And to the extent , they will not pay for extra working hours. So atleast in a week , 3 days minimum they are made to stay. What is your opinion of this work culture friends.
Do you have the same type of hectic culture in your country also ?

Hi
I also work for a IT company in India, and the work culture is too bad out here. There have been many friends of mine who sit work throughout the week. But i believe everything is upto individual I make it a point not to work more than office hours. I just don't care. The maximum they can do is chuck me out of the project, anyways i wanna study more, so the job is just to show some experience. The reason for this happening in our country is that the labour laws are weak and people are not willing to risk their jobs, because they are not confident of themselves, if all people start saying No, then the PMs who do no other job than screwing up the planning will face the heat and plan better!
