The problem is that many people have confused teachings about the forgiveness (some translations: remission) of sin. you are saved from sins if you have asked forgiveness and never do it again.if done repeatedly then it's already hardheadedness. There is no subject more important than our salvation. There is only one reality with God: either we are saved by faith only or we are not.We are saved by enduring to the end (Matthew 24:13): "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."

Matthew 24:13 clearly states that the person who endures to the end is the one who will be saved. Also, Matthew 7:21-23 states that there will be many who claim to even do great things in the name of Jesus, but not all will have his approval. So the bottomline is - continuing to do the will of God right to the end - either of our lives or the destruction of the ungodly - is the only thing that will result in our absolute salvation. Right now the way is open for us. It is up to us to be steadfast in doing what He wants and only then will we be saved.
