The fastest, does not mean the best. Although I must agree, that Opera is nice and speedy :). I use Opera and Firefox, dependent on the task I want to fulfill. Just for normal browsing i use Firefox, because of the huge amount of comfort it offers. And the customizability of firefox is a huge plus for users. So the "best" always depends on what you want to use it for.
Have a nice day and happy mylotting :)

When PC Magazine compared memory usage of firefox and opera, they found that firefox used approximately as much memory as the other. A highly revamped rendering engine gives the first public beta of the new opera browser 28% better performance than lastest stable firefox.

Well, for me Firefox is still the best, maybe because I'm already use to it and it's useful shortcuts, although I have a Opera here I'm not fond of using it. And I've done some tweak to my browser so it would be surfing more faster. The most important thing is where you are more comfortable in using. Well, that's my opinion. LOL
