hi all, just looking for your opinions on age difference in a relationship and what you think is an ok gap or whether it makes a difference or not. i am currently in a great relationship i have just turned 30 and my partner he is 42, we get along very well and have no problem with the age gap ourselves buit a few of our friends and family members think its too big an age difference, shoould it matter if you love the person??? thanks all :-)

i think so, age does't matter as long as you love each other. we have a 2 years gap with my hubby and for me with age gap is better than the same age because it can help you to have the different ideas of other person whom not the same as yours.

I don't think an age gap matters too much in a relationship. We fall in love with people for many reasons and age has nothing to do with that. My husband is 7 years older than me, this is not a big gap, we have some different ideas due to our different ages but that makes things more interesting. I have friends who are in relationships with older and younger people and age never really factors in the relationship.

I don't think that age really matters in a relationship as long as you are old enough and mature enough. It seems that the older that you get the less age really matters to you. If you fall in love with someone and that person makes you feel complete than that is all that really matters. Some people just need to learn to keep their comments to themselves.
