What is your Own Personal Definition of a True Friend?

I know this is just a simple discussion but I still post it here for fun and for some insightful conversation. A true friend for me would be with me no matter what. He is faithful and true to his word and his actions and does not pretend. "A false friend would be with you only in times of prosperity but leaves you in times of adversity. He does not correct you when you're wrong. While a true friend is with you no matter what your situation in life is. He loves you both in times of prosperity and adversity. He rejoices in your prosperity and success and sympathizes in your failure and downfall. He corrects you not because he hates you or is angry with you but because of his love for you." How about you, what is your definition of a true friend? Have you found one now?

remenbering each other every time,helping each other all the time,often calling each other,encouraging each other in tough times.This is my opinion of true friend.

Hi warcraft, your definitions of what a true friend boils down to one word: Faithfulness. Truly a faithful friend is what we need often as he will never leave us even in times of trouble. There are few who have that quality but they can be found.

a true friend for me is someone who isn't afraid to tell things that might hurt me as long as it is for my own good. he/she often wants the best for me and will never leave me in times of trouble.

hi: friends is good fortune in our life ,he can help us out of troubles no matter what happened! i think true friend is that you have many commons that you could talk and and make you get along well,and you do not care about the loss and gains when you live ! friends are best thing in my life ! i will cherish it forever!

I found 5 true friends. There is Jasmine, Leizel, Ruby, Jaja and Tintin. They accept me for who i am, they love for who i am and not what i can do. They know my worsts and my best and even if i trip or stumble, they always lend a hand to pull me up. They never leave me, they're always there. I love them and im happy i have them.

my true friend is someone that views me as his true friend too, whatever his views are.
