is it the short not suitable for wearing long pant?

hi, everyone, recently i have a trouble in my heart. that is my friend told me l look taller when i am wearing short pant. but i always wear long pant like jean go to school. one of the reason is the school require what we wear for respect our lecturer. i oredi chooose those slim and fit jean that make my leg longer, but they said i look short especially i am wearing long pants. my height is about 162cm,and in my understanding, it should not consider as short. how to overcome my problem?can give me some suggestion?

well you taller than me that's a start. it's up to you on what you wear not your friend, especially for school. you have to be comfortable. when we were at school our winter uniform skirt was the short, usually above the knee and black knee high socks. all the other high schools wore ankle length. they now get to wear black pants, where we had to have green. which was really hard to get.

but i will care other ppl attentions esp they are my friends. i also hope i can wear comfortable and also beautifully. do you wish so?
