Since a few days Google has been displaying sesame street doodles on their, I don't know who thought it up but I do know it reminds me of when I was younger. My mum and me sitting on the sofa watching Sesamestreet, it's so adorable when I think about it. Do you have such memories as well? Please share them.

I remember Sesamestreet, I used to watch it when I was a child. At that time there weren't a lot of different programmes for children. Sesame street wasn't in Danish, so I didn't understand words and I always asked my mother to translate the words for me. She often got tired of translating for me, because I kept on saying: "Please translate it for me. What are they saying now? And now? And now?" I loved Sesame street, but at that time I wasn't able to understand other languages than Danish.

Sesame Street is now forty years old and has spread all over the world. It came out when my kids were little. They loved it and I also enjoyed watching it. it helped my kids learn to read and and simple math. I haven't seen it for years.

Yes I did. I think I learned a lot from the characters. I think my favorite would be cookie monster, because up to now, I still like eating cookies. I must have liked the grouch too, because I could also be a grouch sometimes. Not to mention, a slob. I try to let my kids watch Sesame Street too. But they are not really in to it. They'd rather watch Diego and Dora!
