Is the world really ending in 2012?

There is not a credible scientist in the world who believes any of the nonsense surrounding this dribble. In fact, there isn't even a Mayan around today who believs this dribble. I do believe the end of the world will might be 2012, we are on the seventh millenium where the jewish and mayan calendars end. Of course, everybody have their own oppinion. The thing is not to let the thought of the world ending affect your life, just try to be the best person you can (just in case).

Hello, do you think other people would let it end that easy? if so then I will borrow all the bank money and spend it all and never pay back... hahaha.. I dont think it will be end in 2 more years... and if so, other people will not let it end this easy either. it is just something to do with messing up with countries or economy... such as people loosing their job, house, or other things... good luck and let pray not to end in 2012

Is another stupid mith,remember in the year 1999, a lot of crazy people say the world will be ending in 2000. The world will dissappear millions of years after the human being, remember that the universe and the earth itself exists since billions of years. The human being knows nothing.

Its the same thing they said when we hit 2000 and now we've reach 2009 and we're still here right. But I'm not saying that i don't believe in this stuff, just don't be paranoid much like what some people did during 2000 going to caves because they believe they'd survive if they live there.

Well we don't know about the truth ... until the time comes, no one know when will the world ended, but what i know, the world is now going to that way, some of it just happen like the bible said ... and see, there is so much a disaster happen lately, global warming, and etc, i'm afraid this is how the world ends .... what we can do is pray and do good things for others until that day really comes

i don't believe that report at all.but i do believe the world will end, but we as human don't know when it will hapend.i do believe we are all going to die but don't know when.remember before,some people say 9-09-2009 the world will end,but we still live untill now..we all don't know when it will happend. we only know that when we still have opportunity to make ourselves do the best in our live,as much as we can,as much as we do..do all the best

frankly speaking i dont believe in this movie cos being a christian i believe that only god knows when we will all die and this world too... thats why i dont believe it..even though scientist had a point evn though science really help people a lot but they dont hve a right to conclude phenomenon like this .... because only god know what will happen!!

can it really be true il be finishing my college by 2012 and it means ill die after that it cannot be true because in 2004 it was also predicted that the world was going to end but it did not really happen so i really dont think its true.but there are also possibilites that it can also be true

HA! I highly doubt that one. I haven't heard a single thing about the world ending in 2012, until they started showing previews about the movie itself. If the world were planning on coming to an end in 3 years, I think they would be planning for it. The world will end LONG after our time. Unfortunately though, if the world comes to an end anytime in the next 100 years it'll be because of mankind. The human race will definitely be the reason. Simply due to the fact that people do not know how to take care of the environment. You'll learn when global warming takes a turn for the worse.

My beliefs clearly state that no one knows when the world will end and that only god knows and not to pay any mind to anyone claiming that the world ends at such and such a date because those people are false prophets. As far as I know the Mayans are not God. Note I'm not trying to covert anyone. Just sharing my opinion

The answer is a big NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO God only knows when the world end. The only thing that we can do a prepare until this day come. Trust God He's the only one who can save us!

Either way there is nothing to worry. If the earth really ends then ALL of us will die. Then why woorry? And if it doesn't then we continue mylotting, earning money and eating chocolates - nothing to worry either.

No one knows the end of the world even the most intelligent scientist and brightest of them who ever lived in this world cannot predict and calculate it. This news or stories are made for people to change and help each other to make this world a better place. I we take it literally nothing will really happen and i guess the end will really come. Think it as a tool for us people to make a move, as we can see global warming is happening right now. Why? Because of people... But what should we do? Just do simple things like conserve energy, clean our houses, join some programs of the society on cleaning and planting trees and etc. So many ways to deal with it let's just be cooperative. Here is an alternative opinion and fiction for me: Ok, uhmmm.... do you know the Mayans? They are a group of people that actually lived in the past, i think it is thousand of years ago? or so.. not sure bout them... Many people said that this Mayans are the one who predicted the end of the world on dec. 2012, which is for me will not happen. Why? Simple! Are they more intelligent than God? Just like what i said no one knows the end of the world, but there is an exception, only God knows when, but this is the question again. Will God put an end to a world that he created? I don't think so... Another fiction and opinion for me: There are many sayings that in 2012 There will be a very big meteor that will strike the planet earth, actually it is not a meteor they said, it is a planet called nibiru, which size is, i think double the size of the earth. Which is also not so good to hear, think about or even talked about. But is this really true? IF that so called planet is fast approaching to earth then it's almost 2009 and then we have 3 years left, why can't we see that planet? If it is really near where is it? Get my point? Another fiction for me again: Many people said that in 2012 everything will come to and end by the means of earthquake, volcanic explosions and Veery very very big tsunamis. Do you think it will happen? I mean can a tsunami that big can continuously go around the world to devastate it? A continues flow of that kind of tsunami is very impossible to happen, ok some people said that all the ice that will melt from the places with massive ice and places who are made by ice will make the ocean level very high which will make all people drown. The earth is so big and also there are deserts to fill with water i am sure the size of those deserts are enough for that amount of water. Here is another one, mane people say that by that time water will be no more!!!! The earth will be out of water!!!! Too much of a drought? Do you think it will happen? The world consist of too much water even another thousand years the water will now disappear, the ice are melting will there be too much of a drought? contradicting isn't it? We don not know what will happen even tomorrow, the best thing that we do is always pray to whatever your religion is. Be cooperative on the rehabilitation of the planet and let us all live in peace. All i can say is that! I will be here in 2013 and I believe in God!
