you need to stay on top of her. unless you instill in her the need to become a responsible, organized and thorough person in life, she will continue to carry these behaviors into adulthood. i sit with my daughter every single day after school and watch her complete her assignments. i make sure that she stays organized and keeps things in neat order. yes, it's very difficult to do, especially when we are all so busy. but i'm finding that the school system is doing less and less to help prepare our children for the real world. we need to take the initiative as parents to make sure that they grow up to become responsible adults. good luck, and hopefully everything works out

I HAVE SAT WITH HER AS WELL AS MY OTHER 2 CHILDREN. SHE IS WORSE AT SCHOOL AS FAR AS GETTING ORGANIZED AND TURNING IN HER WORK NEATLY. I HAVE TRIED TO HELP HER SLOW DOWN CAUSE SHE JUST RUSHED THRU EVERYTHING. I HAVE TRIED A REWARD CHART FOR BEING ORGANINZED AND COMPLETING HOMEWORK NEATLY AND ACCURATELY, SHE JUST SEEMS LIKE SHE DONT CARE ABOUT HERSELF OR WHAT SHE DOES OR HOW IT IS DONE. MY OTHER TWO CHILDREN DONT HAVE THIS PROBLEM. SHE IS THE MIDDLE CHILD AND I TOO WAS ALOT LIKE HER MY MOTHER SAYS. I WILL KEEP TRYING...
