Did You Ever Win The Lottery or a Good Prize?

I've won a few things throughout my life. When I was pregnant with my son, I signed up for a prize in the baby department of a local store. I won a really nice car seat for the baby. When another new store remodeled and had a grand opening, I won a set of pots and pans. I also won $500 at Bingo several years ago. I've won a few small things along the way at raffles, but nothing like a trip or the lotto. My husband and I went to the Riverboat one Saturday afternoon and he always says that he is a jinx and never wins anything. Well that day, He won $6000 on the dollar slot machines. He can't whine anymore about being unlucky.

Hi EbonyFire, Well done done on winning that trip. I have never won anything good at all, I guess I am not that lucky lol. The best thing that I won was a sandwich toaster I have had a few small lottery wins over the years but nothing I could retire on.

just after our first daughter was born, my hubby called into our local radio station and won a table cloth with placemats and a really nice candle holder. also, a few years ago, he phoned into another radio station and won a movie. he is the lucky one, not me so much.

I am not a roll and be lucky kind of guy who wins every other prize or competition.However off late I am trying very hard to win something.The makeover came when I won an ipod last week by entering into a competition in a web site. I think there are folks who try their luck and get succeed in a good hit ratio.My mom says you need to try and try hard until you succeed.Not very sure if that works out in terms of lottery.I am planning to buy a lottery in Christmas ...Wish me luck..I also wish the very best to you in your next attempt to win something big....
