Swine flu get you?

Caught it a couple of weeks ago. At first, I thought I was coming down w/hay fever allergy symptoms but I learned I got it afterward. I got some Oust to spray in all the rooms as well as gargled w/low volume peroxide. The only meds I took were Tylenol to reduce the fever and alleviate body aches. I've found out the hard way that Nyquil etc. just prolongs the illness. There have been immunization clinics popping up but haven't gone because it is sort of new. I hope you and you family recover without needing medical attention.

I got lucky. My college campus had a huge outbreak and it was a disaster. People were going home for a week or longer and it seemed like it was never going to end. Our classes all have disinfecting wipes and germex in them. I did get sick...it was the normal flu but worse than normal. I had it for two weeks, but not H1N1 thank goodness. I hope that your family all recover quickly!

It hasn't hit my family yet, but we're going to try to find somewhere where the flu shots aren't so expensive. I hope you and your family get better soon; I imagine that it's no fun fighting it off. God bless!

So sorry that it hit your family so bad. My family has been pretty luck so far. However, 3 of them are traveling to Florida in a couple of days and I'm a bit nervous about them contacting the swine flu. I actually told them they should wear a mask on the plane but they looked at me like I was crazy. I hope and pray your family will be feeling better real soon. Remember plenty of liquids!

My husband is diabetic, so I am hoping it will not hit him. We have not been able to get the swine flu shot, but as soon as they are available we will. My husband had gotten the regular flu shot so I am hoping that he will be ok. So far, we have been lucky no flu yet. I hope you and your family get well soon.
