Do you notice at end of October, beginning of November, is when all the stores start running their sales for Christmas? Is anyone like me and go "KARAZY" at this time of the year?I am a shop-a-holic when it comes to this time of the year! I can save, save, and save even more because of the great sales and coupons I use.
Bath and Body Works just had a 2 day sale. I was waiting for this sale, knowing that it was coming up soon, because I hit the same sale last year...buy 3 Signature Collection products get 3 free. That's half price! It doesn't end here...because I'm on their mailing list I also get other savings like $10.00 off a $30.00 purchase and free products with any purchase. What's nice is that you can combine these discounts, promotions, and free gifts. Yesterday I went to do some Christmas shopping at Bath and Body Works...did I SAVE money? I sure did! I saved $73.00 and got a free room freshner....WOOOHOOO!! And on top of this savings, I received other coupons for my next visit (another free item and savings coupons), plus for going online and giving my feedback I received a code to use on my next purchase to receive another $10.00 off a $30.00 purchase. This offer doesn't have an expiration date, so I think I will wait until they have their 3 for $10.00 Signature Collection sale and save even more!
I am so excited because now I have an extra $78.00 to spend on the new grandson!How many of my other MyLot friends take advantage of these deals? Lets here of other great deals you MyLotters get! I might plan some new shopping excursions...lol.

For me I do a lot of my shopping online like with ebay. So I'm actually getting better deals than what the stores are providing. The newest thing I found is jewelery from countries like China that are $1-$2 online with free shipping that I would normally spend $10 in the store to get. Therefore I can get someone 5-10 pieces for the price of one.
And also this year my family is being more practical. For my grandparents I'm getting them 2 packs of energy efficient light bulbs - and not the small ones the 18 packs so therefore most of the house can fully be filled.

yeah i love this time of year the sales for end of summer clothing is out. and the haloween sales are on, so i buy decerations for next year. and then the xmas sales are starting and you can get lots of deals. vetrans day sales are out on top for the end of the season stuff.
and kholes is doing another one of there spend $50 get $10 in kholes cash... gotta love that.
i just need to get some money so i can go out there and enjoy these saving and buys some xmas pressies.

well, here in canada, i find that after christmas is the best time to get deals just because they have everything on sale the day after christmas (boxing day) when the stores are open and most everybody else is off work (its a holiday here).
i start buying my presents then. this year, however, there may be greater sales before christmas just because not that many people are shopping due to the recession as well as the h1n1 (flu).

hi bizzyb.lord its just november I always wait til December and this year
I do not have a lot of money to spend on anyone as most of my social security
and ssi go to pay rent and board at this retirement center where I am
stuck until my son who has beenout of work for months,gets a job, accumlates
'some money and then we c an once more be a family in an apartment again.
this horrid economy has split up families and made us poor.so I dont know
what I am doing for christmas.

Hello BizzyB this is checkmail and me too never miss the best time to buy goods at an discount rates.Well over here in Diwali festival normally in october-november, there are lots of offers and attractive schemes, prizes, and its price when you go in for shopping.Yeah in Christmas too but not as compared in Diwali.The shop nearly offers double of the goods for the price of one, even gives away free g.oods on purchase of some goods.And as usual heavy discount over the total shoppings.

Hehe, sounds like you're having a blast with the sales that's going on where you're at.
Where I'm from, the best sales aren't necessarily before Christmas but they usually are when the seasons change. There is Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter sale. The most discounts though comes when it's Summer. That's when a lot of shops go into Summer sale and that's when a lot of tourists come over to shop til they drop.
