Are you a scatterbrain? Like looking for your eye glasses when it's on top of your head? or looking for a pen, which is neatly tucked behind your ears? Or you didn't know where you've placed your loose change, now imagine if you've forgotten to wear your undies. Are you such a scatterbrain? If you are , then you can improve your focus and concentration. The mind is also a muscle that needs to be exercised so that it could function well. Mind games, like word puzzles, chess, etc , could help you exercise your brain. For mor information on how to increase your memory, read this article: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2184229/how_you_can_improve_your_memory.html?cat=5
Now, don't wait for your memory to fail you, exercise it!

I am not but my brother is....he is an engineer that designed part of the space shuttle......but can't remember to put gas in the car and has ran out plenty of times....and he should have invested in an umbrella company as he has lost so many of them they have lost count! LOL

One trick I like to use is to remember something is to tie a string around my finger to remind me. Don't laugh, it works! If you are having problems remembering things, or need to improve your study habits, you should check out http://www.secretstoimprovememory.com/site-map/

I don't put a pen behind my ear, so I've never had that problem...honestly, I think mine is worse. I will panic looking for my cell phone and look everywhere for it before realizing that I am talking to someone on it who is laughing at me while I tell them what I'm searching for. My grandmother does it too, but she gets frustrated at herself. I end up laughing and moving on with my life. :)

This is similar to a duh discussion which I responded to recently. Where I was running back and forth from the garage to the bedroom looking for the car keys I had in my hand. I was getting frustrated, and I just couldn't find those damned keys. Finally when I calmed down, I realized I had it in my hand all along.
So, sometimes it's just not poor memory, but could be something else. Like too much anxiety.
