"Deja Vu", have you ever experience one?

I just had one last weekend while cooking for our lunch. The weird part was that is was perfect, down to the peculiar noise of the casserole pops-out and I smell the food cooked evenly. I never had an aural Deja Vu before, but his one's great.
I really haven't mind it until I read something about it that it has something to do with long term and short term memory. Sometimes things can bounce back and forth between the two. It is your imagination combined with random sensory stimuli that your brain ends up processing the wrong way.
Do you encounter one lately?

Yeah, funny you said this, because I was just encountering it a few weeks back. And when I saw your discussion, I remember those moments whenever I feel like I've done something like this before, and like you said, bouncing back and forth between the two. My mind ran to a jolt for a few seconds, and it felt so surreal! LOL...

That is interesting, as I don't recall ever having smelled something in a deja vu, but I used to have these dreams that were vividly real and then sometimes years, even decades later the thing would happen. Mine were mostly visual, though, with no sounds and certainly no odors, but sometimes the sensation of movement. Sometimes I am drawn to a place that I feel like I've been to before.

Yes I have encountered deja vu, I tend to quite often. They are very fun as well. Though sometimes I feel in my heart that if not all then atleast one aspect is true!
