Last night after a storm in November,I called my father, who told me bad news.My oldest aunt is suffering esophagus cancer.I can feel his sadness, yes, she's his loved ildest sister, though they're apart for about 10 years in different cities.
When heard this I was shocked.I was thinking more about this horrible disease. My grandfather passed away because of this esophagus cancer, and now my aunt is suffering it.I'm scared of heredity.
Anybody knows about it?Who can give me some advices?I'm keeping this horrible thing in mind, which is taking a lot of out of me.

the esophagus is a hollow tube, are 10" to 13" long, that transfer food from throat to stomach. esophagus has an outer lining but it all like body tissue and made up with individual cells. esophagus cancer start in a single cell, which has become abnormal. this cells produce million, eventually billion of copies itself. the copies are called colon. if the colon fail to function as normal esophagus tissue but instead divert resource from healthy cells to fuel their healthy growth.when there are about 1 billion cells, they form a clump or tumor. a tumor merely means a swelling. it can be cause by infection, inflammation or cancer. esophagus cancer used to be uniformly fatal, but modern science and treatment offer more hope of survival and cure then ever before.

Hi Raiyandhaka,I really appreciate for your kind responses.Be frank,I'm not a doctor,I don't care about how it comes and how it can be controlled.
I'm just thinking about the heredity of this esophagus cancer. My gradfather got this disaster whe he's around 80,my aunt is about 60 years old. It's truely that this disease occurs to the people who are more than 55.You know my father is already 54,I'm really afraid of its heredity.I also consulted the experts, who didn't like give me a promise.Sure I understand that.Wish you all understand me.
