Why do my earnings say 0? And why am I a "new user"?

I just logged in after probably 3-4 months of inactivity. My earnings used to be around 5$ when I left. Now they're at 0 and it says I'm a new user when I go to the earnings page. I don't really care that much, but I am curious as I don't think there was any mention of resetting money total for inactivity - was there?

It says here http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx that if you do not log in for a period of 90 days you're earnings will be forfeited. So. . . I guess that's what happened here.

I was about to answer the same, but I just wanted to add instead that this is a new rule imposed by the admin. Since you said that you have been inactive for 3-4 months, then that explains why you lost all your previous earnings.

Thank you both. I didn't see that; it's what I get for fast-reading. Not like I was gonna do anything about it. It was just curiosity.

I think you should contact the admin. I have been inactive for a while and I only started again more than a month ago. My earnings were intact. Good luck

Read this, from Mylot guidelines page , http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx " Our terms of use state that if you don’t login to your account at least once over a 90 day/3 month consecutive period of time your earnings are forfeited. Please remember to login at least once every 90 days. You don’t need to post any new discussions or respond to discussions, you just need to login to your account so that we know your account has not gone idle. "

Oh Well! the same thing happened to me when I logged in to mylot after 6 months of inactivity. My account balance was not that much high. It was hardly a dollar. But when i asked mylot admin about this, I was happy to hear that my balance would be rrturned. But this was 2 years back. they did reply bak saying that after 90 days of inactivity on the site, your account will be reset.

Well, am glad I read this discussion because I am not here also for few months already but I am not sure if it is already 3 months.. I just come back last week and I am thankful that my earnings are still there. I am not paying attention also about everything what it says in the FAQ. But glad to know so that I will be aware of it.

Sorry to hear that you lost your earnings, but now you know, that if you don't log in once in awhile, then you lost them. I wouldn't want to lose mine either, so I try to be here everyday if at all possible. Of course there are some days, I can't be here as I am doing other things, but I do try to come in here most of the time anyway. I think most sites have the same rule, that if ou don't log in for at least 9o days, you lose earnings. There is one site that I got susspended from for an invalid email they say, and it is the same email I signed up with, so not sure why it happened. Anyway, I am glad to be here, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
