Have You Ever Bought Something and Only Used It Once?

Have you ever bought a pair of shoes, a purse, clothing or some other type of merchandise only to have it collect dust in your closet? I am guilty of doing this with some shoes and clothes that I have purchased. Sometimes you get them home and they just don't fit right or you just lose interest in the product. How many people can identify?

I have done this myself a few times. I currently have two pairs of shoes that are just sitting unworn in my wardrobe, and I honestly will be surprised if I ever do wear them. I also have a sleeveless jacket just hanging in the wardrobe. I bought it and was very happy with it, but my boyfriend said he didn't really like it and it just put that little element of doubt in my mind about it so I have never ever worn it.
I always say that I won't ever let it happen again, but it does. I really should be old enough to know better now, but .....

You really should wear your jacket. Just don't wear it around your boyfriend. I am sure he has stuff in his closet that you don't like but I bet he wears it. Kelly wear your stuff girl!

I know you're right, but as I said it just put that tiny little bit of doubt in my mind.
Strangely enough my boyfriend doesn't really have many clothes that I don't like. The only things are the clothes he wears for when his doing any decorating/DIY. They really are scruffy and look really terrible, but he can't wear his good stuff can he.
It's annoying but he does have good taste in clothes so I do actually value his opinion. But like you say I could wear it when I go out by myself somewhere.

uhhuh, same here..it happened to me with some shoes and clothes. usually it's a matter of size, that after i bought it the size turns out to be too small when i tried it at home. why didn't i try it before i buy ? lol because there are some cloths that we can't try it before we buy it lol..
with shoes, i lost interest suddenly and yes i felt guilty..so i decided to just gave it to someone who needs it more than me. It would make me feel better then lol..
how about you ? what did you do when you found out you would only use it once ?

I am with you on that. I try and give my stuff to a friend or family member first or off to the salvation army it goes so it can be put to a better use.

HaaHaaaa! Yes I did and they are still sitting in my closet. I bought a funky pair of lime green tennis shoes that were a great price but don't have a darn thing to wear them with! They actually are really cute, you just can't wear them with everything though, haha.
