fine for texting

I heard that there is now a high fine for texting while driving, do you think that is enough or should there be a higher punishment? I personally think that if it was said that if you were caught texting while driving that you would receive a 24 hour minimum lockup, eveyone would pay attention to the road instead of their phones, what do you think? Anyone?

..well., for me personally, I would recommend that aside from giving a penalty of money, authorities should also confiscate the mobile phone of the person texting.. this way, drivers will avoid being caught of texting while driving.. I believe every body values their phones because of the important numbers and messages stored there.. This penalty is really good to avoid accidents..
