How to find a long lost friend?

I had a best friend. We used to do anything together but after a tragedy that almost killed us both, she and her family moved so suddenly that she didn't even leave me a word. I have been looking to her for 5 years through social websites like friendster but still unable find her. So, I have been thinking if there is any other way to find her?

Hi tommytan,true friendship wont be lost,you can also search in facebook-world while connecting program.if you know any of your common friends try to contact them.

thanks a lot for you comment. But...
Not only me, even her other friends were also suprised to hear the news that she were moved. We all don't even know where did she gone to.
Anyway, thanks again. I do believe that we shall meet again someday. I'll try to find her through Facebook.
