What's your lifestyle?

I am a simple lady who lives with a simple family. I have simple dreams and I live a simple lifestyle. I don't know how others manage, but I survive every single day eating 3 times a day... If we're a bit lucky, we will also have snacks.
What I'm trying to say is that, whatever lifestyle we have, even if we don't have so much in this life, we're still happy. Out of simplicity, we've learned to love each other more. And it doesn't matter if we get wealthy or not. I'm not saying that we don't dream of being rich-because we do. But it's not a priority. We live with what we are and what we have.

I'm not sure I second what you say, your word choice is particular.
You say you 'survive'...that's a particular word to use, you don't say you 'live', you just 'survive'. Are we sure all of that 'simple' stuff makes you happy or you're feeding yourself with the idea it makes you happy while it really doesn't?

I'm happy. Well, survival is one of the main reason why people live, right?
But happiness come from within. And for me, it's also a matter of choice. You can choose to be happy, and you can choose to be sad. Practically, I chose being happy. So no matter the situation may have become, I prefer to look at the brighter side and stay happy. Some people may think that's it's not true-but for me, it is. When you live with a wonderful family, the whole world doesn't matter. I mean, I have my family to back me up so I don't worry that much. If anything goes wrong-who cares? I still have them. And for that fact, I am happy. :)

hi invisiblelady you have learned how to be content and thats such a great'lesson to learn. most do not have it anymore. kids haveit until they get spoiled and
ask for all the latest gadjets. Simple makes things seem more natural, not
so phony and happiness can be had in simplicity. we can dream but we can also'
be happy where we are with what we have and not moan and groan about what
we do not have.Abe lincoln said,man is about as happy as he decides to be. so we
cannot be made happy by others we have to do this ourselves.great discussion.

thanks. i went to a hard process while growing up. but then, i don't want to become a bad girl. so, i've learn to listen to what my parents say. i'm not perfect,i know. but i feel so grateful to be taken care of my simple parents and all i can do is give them back the goodness they've shared with me. and i am so content with them. future doesn't really matter. sometimes, we have to worry about tomorrow. but if you have a good family, you will know how to be content...and yes, happiness comes from ourselves. thanks for sharing :)

You're really simple. he he. That's a nice thing to hear with you - being contented with what you have and what you are. Getting rich is not also our priority. We just want to have a descent job to finance our basic needs.
A word of advice: add God to your simple life and you will experience extraordinary things. God bless
