I had written a number of articles when I first signed up for squidoo. Unfortunately, I didn't make any money on any of them. So eventually, I just kind of gave up on that site. But I am sure that there are a number of people out there that are having a lot of luck with it. So, it just depends on the type of articles that you write and how popular they become.
I have also written articles for a number of other sites. The most I have ever earned for one article was $50. That was through Helium. It was sold to another site or magazine, so it didn't stick around to earn residuals.
I have 98 how to articles on eHow, and I earn payout every month. Plus, I keep writing more every month. I had only written one last year, and when I received a payment at the end of the year I decided to write more. I really enjoy writing for their site and hope to earn even more in the future.
Good luck to you with all of your online adventures!

It really depends. The most you can make if your squidoo lens is quality is about $10. You can also make money from products you sell on your lens so that can vary. It takes work and effort. The more lenses you have the better it can be to make money on the site. Its not going to make you a whole lot of money, but still its money. I know some people are making over $100 per month on there but not everyone is. The site is good for long term rather than short term.

I too have joined squidoo some time back but have never been active. But I see a lot of people are associated with squidoo. I know it doesn't pay much but getting paid $1.50 a month for a fair bit of writing sounds ridiculous. I think I will stick to Mylot. At least I get paid more here.
