Do you cheat while playing Facebook games?

I have heard a lot of people who use cheat engine and other cheat codes while playing some of my favorite games in facebook like Pet Society and Restaurant City. A lot of these cheats are popping up on youtube and other websites and this really made me wonder why people do this. I am addicted to these games but I find it more satisfying to level up on my own without cheating. I don't hate game cheaters though I just don't understand why they do it. How about you? What do you think?

Hi robdog156. I see your new to mylot and based from your profile, your responses are usually one liners. Just a tip, If you want to earn here in mylot, you have to post more than that, as much as possible, post quality discussions like 4 to 5 liners. Anyway, back to the topic, I agree that it is really tempting to cheat at this kind of games. Wwhen one is cheating, it kind of makes someone feel that they have beaten the game but in reality what they are beating is the fun out of these games.

Yes, you do earn more with longer and quality responses. Type how to earn more in mylot in the search field at the upper left corner and you will see what I am talking about.

Nope, I do not cheat because I think it will take out all the fun those Facebook games.
I have a Facebook friend and Restaurant City neighbor who I think cheated because he suddenly shot to Level 32. The bad thing about this is that, although he is in the highest level, he does not enough coins to upgrade his restaurant. So, imagine this, he was a big restaurant but has only a few of those cheapest tables.
I think the fun in those Facebook applications is the challenge of earning enough so that we will be able to make our restaurants, pets or farms more beautiful.

I have a lot of neighbors who are cheaters. It is really easy to spot them. Even If I actually know how to report cheaters in Playfish games, I don't because I don't really feel cheated by them which really makes me wonder why they cheat. Anyway, if you want to report a cheater, you can report them by emailing cheaters@playfish.com.

No way-I can't believe what I'm seeing...people can actually cheat? Why would they offer that? I love the challenge of working my way up and earning trophies and titles in Vampire Wars...That's really sad that people would cheat to level up :( Even now that I know this-I'll still continue to play the old fashioned, honest way. Thanks for posting!

Don't worry, I haven't seen a cheat for Vampire Wars yet. I usually see cheats for Playfish games like Restaurant City and Pet Society and some Zynga games like Cafe World and farmville. Kudos to you for playing in the old fashion and honest way. Anyway, I don't play vampire wars but I do play Mafia Wars, i think the game play is the same right?
