I am in the process of rehabilitating my old home in the hope that somebody could rent it or buy it. The financial crisis had hit home. I have to look for all the possibilities to augment our needs. In trying to clean my abandoned home, I discovered that the termites had invaded the walls. I had to make a drastic pest control treatment. Then I had to replant some of my greens and flower shrubs to make the whole package presentable. I asked someone to help me with the repainting but I did the varnishing of the old tables and cabinets. Not done yet but I am so exhausted. Too tired to sleep too. That is why I am checking mylot.

Well, yes. That was the time when i have to work double time for the reports i have to submit and i was working in the office for 10 hours and at home for another 5 hours. Everyday i lack sleep and i am not used to it. I cannot do anything because there is noone who can alternate with me. That has been what im doing for three months and i felt i could not go on anymore.

I tend to feel exhausted trying to keep up with the house work as well as the children.I have problems getting to sleep and when i do go to sleep my son wakes up.My son wakes up every night about 3am and he is scared so i have to get up to him. Then i also have to get up early to get the children ready for school. While they are at school i do the house work make cards as well as come on the pc to try to earn money.A few hours sleep a night do not help as well as trying to keep going all day as well as all evening.

I have at times been so overtired that I couldn't sleep - I'd just lay in bed wide awake but then all of a sudden, I would just crash out...my 2.5 year old daughter has been known to do that too...I hate being overtired because I just end up being grumpy due to lack of sleep

Hi, eileenleyva. I can why you are so tired. You have so much on your hands to do today. I have been very exhausted many of days. Especially when I have to wash my girls hair and then bathe them. Then I will have to turn around and tend to my son and his daily homework for school. It is really a big day for me then.

Take a breath. It can be every overwhelming. If you take the time to enjoy a bit of peace and quiet, you will then be able to tackle those problems that seem so unbearable now. Best wishes. I know what that is like.

oh yes eileenleyva yes eleven months ago when we packed all our stuff to put in storage, and all our hopes and dreams went smash.I am not going into all that, just
to say packing and sorting and deciding what to toss and what to keep,it was very exhausting.I know that if I get that tired then somehow i cannot turn off my mind and sleep even though my body cries out for sleep.ihave learned since being stuck here in this retirement center to stop before I get to that point, then I c an relax and actually fall asleep.this bad economy has had all of us pretty much jumping through hoops so to speak and some outcomes are not what one would want but we do make compromises so we can survive.

Yes, I have been there. My husband always gets these great ideas to do these projects then he starts them then leaves them for me to do several steps before he can start his next part and he gives me these rediculas to meet time lines to do them, and I have worked so hard I could barely stand at times. Then I am just so exhausted and I want to sleep but I can't. I really hate that. Best of luck to you on your renovating.

You really did a lot of work, I know how it is because I spent the whole of this morning cleaning my home and cooking and was really exhausted. There is no escaping work in life, it is just the way it is. Anyway putting your rest time to good use by staying on my lot

Hi Eileen,
Well, my experience for being so exhausted was when i had three jobs in a row... Monday to Sunday i am so busy with work and my only rest time is a 4-5 hours sleep. I fainted then in the office and was advised to rest. i gave up my weekend job to gain my health. This happened 2 years ago when i am in the United States-- i did this to cover up for my homesickness.

I have moved so many times, and it seems that everytime me and my family rent a new home, or even buy one we have to do work on it before we move in.. I have been in your position so many times! It's exhausting just to think about it! I really feel for you, though I'm sure that in the end your place will look nice.
Best of luck to you! Hope you get some rest :)
