Would you rather be close with your mom or dad?

I think you should be closer to the parent that is around you most, the one that puts food on the table for you, that is the one who cares for you the most, so you should honor them. It is ok to want to feel needed by a parent that isn't around much, but they don't deserve your love more than the one that is taking care of you.

I'm not so close with my parents, for no reason, but just no strong feelings between us. We love each other, but the love is not like other parents with chilren, it's just remoteness. They have never say they love me, so do i. We haven't hug. Tho love among us is so containing, i'm their's daughter, they are my parents, it's only this...

Try your best to be close to your dad, even if by phone or letter if he is rarely home. That is if you have a good relationship with him. Sadly, many people don' have a good relationship with their dad. And you never know when you might lose him. Someday he will be old and stop working.
