This is from my personal experience, I don't know if it seeing from the medical sight or the expert one. But the way I use to stop or reduce my imsomnia was drink a cup of coffee. It sound crazy, isn't it?? But that is the truth. The coffee can make me relax, and when relax we can take our mind to whatever we want to.Whether to sleep or keep awake. The main problem that cause imsomnia was stress or there are something that we thinking hardly.Whether job, GF, BF, family, or whatever. So, when I start getting stress and can't take a sleep.I make a cup of coffee and drink it.Slowly but sure, I'm getting relax and start going sleepy. And then the qonquerization can take me successful. Write your comment or your own experience.

I have not heard of drinking coffee to help you sleep, but have used it to stay awake! When I am suffering from insomnia, it is typically because there is just too much stuff swimming around in my head! The best method for me has been to keep a journal next to my bed. When I am having a night when I can't fall asleep, it helps to just write things out. It's almost like putting them on the paper gets them out of my head so that I can sleep soundly. Plus, the journal then serves as a record of ideas, thoughts, and plans that I can refer back to regularly. Many good ideas come during this time of day/night, so it's good to write them down!

I used to experience insomnia before. Tanks God..I have not been through with it at present. What I really hate about insomnia is that your mind is very active and you can think so many things and stay awake whole night. But your body is craving for rest.

For me, I drink Camomile tea or warm milk. Coffee doesn't make me sleepy. It wakes me up so when I need to stay awake, I drink coffee. To combat insomnia, I also try not to do anything that will keep my mind active before bedtime. I try not to work too much or think too much so I can relax my mind and prepare for sleep.
