I am gaining weight in my stomach and thighs at the rate of about .5 lbs per every few day. It is very frustrating. I have always eaten low fat, low cal, and low carbs. Because of this, I have started exercising more often, plus all of the running around I do chasing my kiddos. I have recently quit smoking (well, back in April), I also quit drinking so much caffeine. I know this could effect how my body reacts to the foods I eat. How is everyone else loosing weight? What diet pill works to loose the fat in the stomach and thigh area? I am just about desperate enough to quit eating all together (nah, I love food too much). Alli works great if a person has a high fat diet, which I don't. I am wanting to loose this weight pretty quick, I am not very patient.

despite the way it feels, losing weight isn't a mysterious process. It's a simple matter of burning more calories than you eat. But, if it were really that simple, nine of us would have a weight problem, would we? Weight loss can be such a struggle that we start thinking we have to do something drastic to see results-diets,pills or those weird fitness gadgets on infomercials that promise instant success. The true secret to weight loss is this: Make small changes each and very day and you'll slowly (but surely) lose those extra pounds. The key is to forget about instant results and settle in for the long run.

Wow, to loose more calories than I eat would be hard. I eat about 1000 cal per day, yet I have calculated that I only burn about half. It seems that I do not have much time for anything else, I work out about 1-2 hours per day. That is the strict workout, I am also on the go with many other things. Although, I did see a news report that people that are always on the go don't realize that they are sitting in the car or just standing in line for most of that time. So, I am trying to some realization that just because I am on the go all of the time, doesn't mean that I am loosing all the calories that I thought I should be. Ugh, I never thought I would have to worry about my weight..and here I am. I remember when I was younger, the Dr.s put me on a high carb diet so I could gain. Now look at me HA!
