At the age of 29 I thought it a good idea to get my eyes tested for the first time since primary (or junior in the States) school. As expected, I'm short sighted and am now the proud owner of a pair of specs. My question is this: when i walked away from the opticians it felt as thogh i was walking through the floor such was the magnification of my new specs. Is this normal and something you adjust to or have they given me ones that are too powerful?

Hello, it is not support to do that if you get the right perception. I think your perception is too high for you. If you get the right one then you will be able to see just like your naked eyes. Try to take a test again but not on the hot day cuz hot day make your eyes dry and it will increase in number. hope it help

Thanks smileonstar. I think I'll give it a day or 2 and if nothing feels more natural go back again.

I'm not an Optician so I'm not sure about that. But something doesn't seem right to me. I would get your eyes checked by a reputable Optician. Vision House is a good place to start! And if you want another pair of glasses you can go to their website and print out an coupon for a $100.00 discount. It's worth a shot. http://www.thevisionhouse.com/
